David Foy is a Director of Photography based in Brooklyn, NY with an edge for capturing humanity through a deeply empathetic lens. His debut feature film Waiting for the Light to Change won the Narrative Feature Grand Jury Award at the 29th Slamdance Film Festival in 2023 and was featured in Esquire’s “The 65 Best Movies of 2023”. It has since been theatrically and virtually released by independent film distributor Freestyle Digital Media. His sophomore feature film Behind The Eight-Ball is completed and expected to hit the festival circuit in 2026.
